Introduction To Kangen Water:

Kangen water comes from a company called Enagic, and they are the ones who came up with the name Kangen. Basically this water is alkaline water that has been ionized used by one of the machines that Enagic sells. Over the years there have been many testimonials from individuals who have either claimed to use the product or sold it. Whether or not such experiences are factual can be debated since these days it seems people will say or do just about anything to make a quick buck. For that and many other reasons, I decided to make a website about Kangen water that gives my unbiased opinion about this product. It is unbiased because I have used the Kangen water machines, but I have not once ever tried to sell one. I was setup as a distributor of the product back in 2006, but I just never got around to trying to make an income from selling any of the products from Enagic or any company that sells this type of water filter.

What Is Kangen Water?

My History With Kangen Water:

I was originally introduced to Kangen Water back in 2006 by a friend of mine who drank and sold the water. Unlike many people who at the time were more concerned about trying to get people to buy the product, he just wanted me to try it. He and his wife, being in their late 50s at the time, saw some pretty interesting benefits from using the water. At the time I was in my early 20s and I didn’t have any physical or medical issues, but since I regularly played basketball 3-4 times per week… he wanted to know how my body would respond to trying the water. After making me drink the water anytime I was at his house, he finally made me take a Kangen water machine and install it at my own house so I could regularly drink it. He didn’t ask that I try to sell the product or anything; his only demand was that I drink the water as often as possible.

I guess the fact that at that time, and even currently, I almost never drink soda or juice… he knew that with the amount of water I’ve always drank I would probably be a good candidate to see how well or not the water would do for me. After I setup the water system in my kitchen I immediately began drinking the water on a daily basis, roughly about 48 – 72oz or more per day. I do remember the first day I drank the water in my own home, I did like and prefered it over the tap water I’d drink from my faucet or the filtered water from my refrigerator. I regularly did this for about 8-9 months, and not once did I ever lift a finger to try and sell one of these machines… but that had nothing to do with my satisfaction or lack of towards this product; I just never got around to it.

The Business Side Of Kangen Water:

Let me start off by saying I am not the best candidate to try and educate anyone about the business or financial side of Kangen water for the simple fact that the information that I vaguely remember is more than 5 years old. What I do remember is that if a person was actually good at getting people to buy these Kangen products from Enagic, they could make quite a bit of money. I personally know someone who did very well selling these machines, making more than $100,000, so that should give you an idea of how much a regular person can make if they really put their all into it. I am not suggesting that everyone can make this type of money, but I just want you to know the possibilities.

When I was more familiar with financial possibilities things were setup using a multi level marketing(MLM) system. If a person sold a machine that cost a few thousand dollars, they would make a couple of hundred. After selling somewhere around 10 machines, then the amount they would make would increase. Along with that, every person that would sign up under a distributor who sold the machines, they would make money for the distributor as well.

How Kangen Water Affected Me:

As mentioned earlier, I did not start drinking Kangen water because I was having health issues, but instead a friend of mine who was selling the machines wanted to get my opinion and information about my experiences drinking the water. One thing I noticed almost immediately when drinking the water was that when drinking it while playing basketball I was thirsty much less than when I was drinking the water from the water fountain at the gym. Another thing I noticed was that I wasn’t as fatigue after playing compared to when I didn’t drink Kangen water when playing. Sure I still got tired after playing for 2-3 hours, but the fatigue that was normally set in the rest of the night after playing wasn’t there. Whether or not this difference was mental since I knew I had been drinking Kangen water… I cannot honestly say for sure.

One thing I was looking forward to getting out of drinking this water was to get rid of my allergy to pollen and dust. My allergy was not extreme, but during the spring months of the city I lived in… I would often be congested and sneeze quite often when I was outdoors. Honestly drinking this water didn’t make much of a difference in the beginning. One difference I saw eventually was that I didn’t have issues outdoors anymore with my allergies, but that could be due to the fact that my body got used to that city. I had recently moved to that city when I started drinking the Kangen water, so I cannot say for sure whether or not the water helped.

Was Drinking Kangen Water Worth My Time?

In the beginning I really enjoyed drinking the water, maybe because I love drinking water and it was something new for me. I had grown up drinking tap water in the city that I lived in, and it was great. Once I moved to anew city, the tap water didn’t taste so good, nor did the filtered from my refrigerator and this Kangen machine was the solution to both of those issues. The water actually tasted good, and it just seemed really fresh. The setup that I had required that I make adjustments to 3 valves as well as turn on the machine, and the first 3-4 months I had no issue doing this. With time however, it seemed I often wanted the water when I was in a rush… and I just didn’t want to wait anymore so my use of the Enagic water filter began to be less frequent.

So to answer the question as to whether or not it was worth my time to take an additional 15 seconds to get water coming out of the filter, and then wait for the water that comes out at a slower pace than the water from the faucet… at first it was, but after some months I didn’t want to wait anymore. Does that mean you shouldn’t give Kangen water a chance? No. The reason is because these days Enagic has products for sale that can produce this water much faster than the setup that I had. So with that said… I’d personally give it a try if you think it could be beneficial for you to use Kangen water. Do not let my experience make you think twice because I wasn’t happy how long it took to fill up a 24oz glass of this water.

Do I Recommend Drinking Kangen Water?

My answer to this question may not be fair to Enagic and their product because my desire to sell this product has never really been there. The other reason is that I am probably not the ideal candidate when it comes to drinking this water and getting the most benefit from doing so. Above I mentioned some of the details of my experience witn this alkaline water, but it’s not enough for me to go around and tell people they should try it. If I remove myself from the equation and purely go off what people I know have told me about the water, and the research I’ve personally done… I’d suggest anyone who mad have any type of health/medical issues try it. I do not believe that this water is a “fountain of youth” capable of curing various ailments that people may have, but I do believe that having the machine will make anyone drink more water than they normally would. When anyone replaces other beverages with water, there will almost always be positive results from them doing so. If I were to make my decision purely off of that fact, then yes I would recommend a person to give Kangen water a try. But I cannot honestly say whether or not it is worth it for a person to pay $1,000s for this product. I think there are too many variables involved that have nothing to do with my opinion or experience with this product.

My Conclusion About Kangen Water:

My conclusion regarding this water is that people who have the circumstances to drink this water should give it a try. Do I feel that it is a product that everyone must have and can benefit from? Yes. Do I feel that a person who does not have the money to buy the product should come up with a way to get the money for it? No. I am really even-kill when it comes to drinking water from Enagic products. I had a great experience drinking this product, and I personally know of others who have also. On the flip side of that, there are 100s of people who hate this product and only have bad things to say about it. Since there are those who feel this way, I cannot say that one should disregard those testimonials and make a decision only based on what I say on this website.

I am here to tell you that Kangen water is not some type of miracle water in any way, shape or form. Instead, in my personal opinion, this water is simply filtered and ionized in a way that makes it a bit easier for the human body to absorb it and use it for whatever is needed.
